Zilla Parishad to notify places for washing and disinfecting articles, exposed to infection; infected articles may be destroyed; penalty.— (1) The Zilla Parishad shall, from time to time, notify places at which articles of clothing or bedding or other articles which have been exposed to infection from any dangerous and infectious disease may be washed or disinfected. (2) The Zilla Parishad may direct the destruction of clothing, bedding or other articles likely to retain such infection, and shall, on demand, give compensation for the articles destroyed. (3) Whoever washes such clothing or bedding or other articles at any place other than those set apart for such purposes under sub-section (1), shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding rupees fifty. 1962 : Mah.
