V Samitis Act, 1961 extent and of such amount determined under sub-section (2), as would in its opinion act as an incentive to speedier development. (2) The standards by which the progress of developmental activities of individual Parishad should be assessed and compared with those of others, and the extent and amount of the grant to be given, shall be such as may be prescribed by the State Government.
