Section 4

Power to depute to Superintendent or Commissioner of Police authority over village police officer.

It shall be lawful for the District Magistrate, with the sanction of the Commissioner, to depute to the Superintendent of Police or the Commissioner of Police, as the case may be, any authority which may be exercised by the District Magistrate for the purposes of police over any village police officer.
