( 1 ) Any person who contravenes the provisions of sub-section ( 1 ) or ( 2 ) of section 3 shall, on conviction, be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to one year or with a fine, which shall not be less than one lakh rupees but which may extend to five lakh rupees or with both. ( 2 ) Any person or an Educational Institution, who contravenes the provisions of sub-section ( 3 ) of section 3, shall, on conviction, be punished with a fine, which shall not be less than one lakh rupees but which may extend to five lakh rupees. ( 3 ) Any person or an Educational Institution who contravens the provisions of section 4, shall, on conviction, be punished with a fine, which shall not be less than fifty thousand rupees but which may extend to one lakh rupees.
