The State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, direct that any power (other than the power to suspend operation of provisions of this Act under section 14 or the power to make rules under section 18) exercisable by it under this Act or the rules or orders made thereunder, may be exercised also by the Tribal Authority or by any officer of the State Government not below such rank as may be specified in the notification, subject to such conditions, if any, as may be specified therin.
