( 1 ) If the landlord has any right to the trees naturally growing on the land held by his tenant, the tenant shall during the continuance of his tenancy be entitled to two-thirds of the total produce of such trees, the landlord being entitled to one-third of the produce of such trees. ( 2 ) If there is any dispute regarding the right to the produce of such trees or the apportionment of such produce as provided under sub-section ( 1 ), the tenant or the landlord may apply to the Tahsildar. Such application shall be made in such form as may be prescribed. ( 3 ) On receipt of such application, the Tahsildar shall, after holding an inquiry, pass such order thereon as he deems fit.
