Section 20

Right to produce of naturally growing trees.

( 1 ) A tenant shall during the continuance of his tenancy be entitled to two-thirds of the total produce of trees naturally growing on the land, the landlord being entitled to one-third of the produce of such trees. ( 2 ) If there is any dispute regarding the right to the produce of such trees or the apportionment of such produce as provided under sub-section ( 1 ), the tenant or the landlord may apply to the Mamlatdar. Such application shall be made in such form as may be prescribed. ( 3 ) On receipt of such application, the Mamlatdar shall, after holding an inquiry, pass such order thereon as he deems fit.
