( 1 ) This Act may be called the Maharashtra State Council for Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy Act, 2002. ( 2 ) It extends to the whole of the State of Maharashtra. ( 3 ) It shall come into force on such 1 date as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette , appoint : Provided that, different dates may be appointed for different provisions of this Act ; and reference in any such provisions to the date of commencement of this Act shall be constructed as a reference to the date of coming into force of those provisions.
