The institute with at least six years standing as an affiliated institute may apply for permanent affiliation. The Board shall consider and scrutinize the application and if satisfied that the affiliated institute has fulfilled all the conditions of affiliation satisfactorily and has attained high academic and administrative standards as prescribed by the Board, from time to time, the Board shall grant permanent affiliation to such institute.
