( 1 ) This Act may be called 1 [the Maharashtra Shetgi Watan Rights (Ratnagiri) Abolition Act]. ( 2 ) It extends to the district of Ratnagiri in the State of Bombay. ( 3 ) It shall come into force on such 2 date as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette , appoint.
