( 1 ) This Act may be called the Maharashtra Religious Endowments (Reconstruction on Resettlement Sites) Act, 1970. ( 2 ) It extends to the whole of the State of Maharashtra. ( 3 ) It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may by notification in the Official Gazette appoint 2 in this behalf.
