( 1 ) Where possession of land is taken by the Arbitrator under section 83 or 84, the persons interested in such land shall be entitled to interest at the rate of 4 per cent. per annum on the amount of compensation payable to him under the final scheme in respect of the said land from the date on which such possession is taken till the date on which amount of compensation is paid to him by the Planning Authority. ( 2 ) The Planning Authority may, at the request of the person interested, pay after consulting the Arbitrator, an advance as provided in sub-section ( 3 ) of section 129.
