Section 27

Provision of Regional plan to be considered.

Where any area within the jurisdiction of a Planning Authority is included in a Region, the Planning Authority or as the case may be, the said Officer shall have regard to, and be guided by, the proposals made in any draft Regional plan or any final Regional plan, as the case may be, while preparing the draft Development plan : Provided that, where the Planning Authority or the said Officer is of the opinion that any provision of a draft Regional plan or the final Regional plan, as the case may be needs any modification, the Planning Authority or as the case may be, the said Officer may carry out such modification- ( a ) in the case of a draft Regional plan, with the concurrence of the Regional Board ; and (b) in the case of a final Regional plan, with the approval of the State Government.
