Section 65

Ineligibility for second consecutive term.

No person shall be a member of Management Council or Chairman of Board of Studies, for a second consecutive term whether, as an elected, nominated or co-opted member, as the case may be: Provided that, any person who was the member of the Management Council of the university or Chairman of the Board of Studies, for the first time whether as elected, nominated or co-opted member, as the case may be, on the date of commencement of this Act, shall not be deemed to have enjoyed the consecutive term if he is nominated or elected or co-opted for the first time after the commencement of this Act.
