( 1 ) For the purpose of this Act, the State Government may form regions and sub-regions and may prescribe and alter limits of such regions and sub-regions. ( 2 ) The regions and sub-regions formed under this section, together with the limits thereof and every alteration of such limits shall be a notified in the Official Gazette .
