( 1 ) Save as otherwise provided in this Act, the nominated members of the Committee shall hold office for a term of three years commencing on the date on which the first meeting of the Committee is held after their nomination. ( 2 ) The members of the Committee shall entitled to such compensatory allowances and at such rates as may be prescribed.
