(1) An application for renewal of registration certificate shall be made to the Registering Authority, not less than forty-five days before the date of expiry of the period of its validity in such form alongwith such documents and such fees, as may be prescribed. (2) The provisions of issue of registration certificate under section 4 shall mutatis mutandis apply for renewal of registration certificate.
