3. One Police Force for the 1 [whole of the 2 [State of Maharashtra]].- There shall be one Police Force for the 3 [whole of the 4 [State of Maharashtra]] 5 [and such Police Force shall include every Police Officer referred to in clause ( 6 ) of section 2] : Provided that, the members of the Police Forces constituted under any of the Acts mentioned in Schedule I immediately before the coming into force of this Act 6 [in the relevant part of the State] shall be deemed to be the members of the said Police Force.
