( 1 ) This Act may be called the 1 [Maharashtra Personal Inams Abolition Act]. ( 2 ) It extends to the 2 [Bombay area of the State of Maharashtra] excluding the merged territories. ( 3 ) It shall come into force on such date 3 as the State Government may by notification in the Official Gazette specify in this behalf.
