1. Short title, 1 [extent and commencement].- ( 1 ) This Act may be called the Maharashtra Ownership Flats (Regulation of the promotion of construction, sale, management and transfer) Act, 1963. ( 2 ) It extends to the whole of the State of Maharashtra. ( 3 ) This section shall come into force at once; and the remaining provisions of this Act shall come into force in 2[such] areas, and on dates as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette , appoint, and different dates may be appointed for different areas. 3 [* * *]
