(1) A person shall be entitled, on an application and on payment of such fees as may be prescribed by the State Government, to have his name entered in the State Register if he resides in the State and holds a recognised allied and healthcare qualification. (2) Upon the application to the State Council, if the State Council is of the opinion that the applicant is entitled to have his name entered on the State Register, the State Council shall enter thereon the name of the applicant. (3) Upon entry of a name in the State Register under this section, the Secretary of the State Council shall issue to the applicant a certificate of registration in such form as may be prescribed by the State Government. (4) The certificate of registration of Allied and Healthcare Profession shall be valid for a period of five years, and renewal of such registration shall be in such form and in such manner as specified by regulations for the respective profession. (5) Any person whose application for registration is rejected by the State Council may, within one month from the date of such rejection, appeal to the Commission. 1 of 1872.
