(1) A common final year undergraduate medical examination, to be known as the National Exit Test, shall be held for granting licence to practice as medical practitioner of respective disciplines of Indian System of Medicine and for enrollment in the State Register or National Register, as the case may be. (2) The Commission shall conduct the National Exit Test for Indian System of Medicine in English and in such other languages, through such designated authority and in such manner as may be specified by regulations.
