Appointment of Education Officer.— The corporation shall from time to time appoint a fit person to be the Municipal Education Officer, who shall— (a) be subordinate to the Commissioner and subject to his orders shall exercise such of the Commissioner’s powers and perform such of the Commissioner’s duties in regard to primary 3[and secondary] education, as the Commissioner may from time to time assign to him; (b) receive such monthly salary 4[as the Corporation shall, from time to time, with the approval of the State Government, determine ; but the salary of such officer shall not be altered to his disadvantage during his period of office]; (c) be removable at any time from office by the Corporation for misconduct or for neglect of or incapacity for duties of the office.] 5[Appointment of medical officers in connection with measures of public medical relief
