Salary of the Commissioner.— (1) The Commissioner shall receive 4[such monthly salary 5[as the State Government may, from time to time, determine]] in return wherever he shall, except as hereinafter provided, devote his whole time and attention to the duties of his office as prescribed in this Act or in any other enactment for the time being in force.
