Sub-Committees of the Brihan Mumbai Electric Supply and Transport Committee.— (1) The Brihan Mumbai Electric Supply and Transport Committee may, from time to time, appoint one of their own body as Sub-Committee consisting of such number of persons as the Committee may think fit. (2) The Committee may by specific resolution carried by the vote of at least two-third of their number present at the meeting delegate any of their powers and duties to a Sub-Committee and may also by a like resolution define the sphere of business of such Sub-Committee. (3) The Committee may refer to a Sub-Committee appointed under sub-section (1) for inquiry and report or for opinion any matter with which the Committee is competent to deal.
