Improvements Committee to continue in office till a new Committee is appointed.— The Improvements Committee in existence on the day for the retirement of Councillors shall continue to hold office until such time as a new Improvements Committee is appointed under section 49C, notwithstanding that the members of the said committee or some of them may no longer be Councillors.
