Signature on notice, etc., may be stamped.— (1) Every licence, written permission, notice, bill, schedule, summons or other document required by this Act or by any regulation or bylaw framed under this Act to bear the signature of the Commissioner 7[or the General Manager] or of any municipal officer shall be deemed to be properly signed if it bears a fascimile of the signature of the Commissioner 8[or the General Manager] or of such municipal officer, as the case may be, stamped thereon.
