Infected articles not to be transmitted, etc. without previous disinfection.— (1) No person shall, without previous disinfection of the same, give, lend, sell, transmit or otherwise dispose of any article which he knows or has reason to know has been exposed to infection from any dangerous disease. (2) Nothing in this section shall be deemed to apply to a person who transmits, with proper precautions, any such article for the purpose of having the same disinfected. 1 These words were substituted for the words “Member-in-charge” by Mah. 27 of 1999, s. 164. 330 The Mumbai Municipal Corporation Act [1888 : III
