Provision of carriages for conveyance of patients.— The Commissioner with the sanction of the corporation, may provide and maintain suitable conveyance for the free carriage of persons suffering from any dangerous disease ; and when such conveyances have been provided, it shall not be lawful to convey any such person by any other public conveyance.
