( 1 ) The Metropolitan Authority shall keep accounts in such form and in such manner as it may by regulations made in this behalf determine. ( 2 ) The accounts of the Metropolitan Authority shall be audited by the Chief Auditor, Local Fund Accounts 1 [or by any other auditor appointed by the State Government from time to time]. ( 3 ) The audit shall be made in such manner as may be determined by regulations. ( 4 ) The auditor shall submit his audit report to the Metropolitan Authority and shall forward a copy thereof to the State Government.
