( 1 ) This Act may be called 1 [the Maharashtra Motor Vehicles Tax Act]. ( 2 ) It extends to the whole of the 2 [State of Maharashtra]. ( 3 ) It shall be deemed to have come into force on the 1 st day of April 1958.
