( 1 ) If it appears to the State Government on the report of the 1 [Council] or otherwise that any recognised institution is not maintaining an adequate standard of training according to the requirements of the 2 [Council], the State Government may ask the 3 [Council] to direct the institution to take steps within such reasonable time as it may fix to bring the training upto the required standard. ( 2 ) If the institution fails so to do within the stipulated time, the State Government may at any time withdraw the recognition granted to such institution.
