( 1 ) A vacancy arising either due to recalling of a Director under section 19 or disqualification under section 33 or due to death, resignation, or by any other reason shall be filled up by nomination in the prescribed manner. ( 2 ) The term of office of a Director or the Chairperson of a Water Users’ Association, nominated under sub-section ( 1 ), shall be co-terminous with the term of the Managing Committee.
