Revenue Areas 3. Division of State into revenue areas.- For the purpose of this Code, the State shall be divided into divisions which shall consist of one or more districts 1 [(including the City of Bombay)], and each district may consist of one or more sub-divisions, and each sub-division may consist of one or more talukas, and each taluka may consist of certain villages.
