Khar Lands cess.— For the purposes of meeting portion of the cost of operation and normal maintenance of the khar lands schemes, there shall be levied and collected, in the manner hereinafter provided, a tax on lands, in this Act referred to as ―the khar lands cess‖ or ―the cess‖.
