(1) All Canal Officers shall be subordinate to the Appropriate Authority and all Canal Officers (other than the Chief Engineer) shall be subordinate to the Chief Engineer. (2) All Canal Officers in a region shall be subordinate to the Additional Chief Engineer. (3) All Canal Officers in a circle shall be subordinate to the Superin- tending Engineer. (4) All Canal Officers in a division shall be subordinate to the Execu- tive Engineer. (5) All Canal Officers in a sub-division shall be subordinate to the Sub-divisional Officer. (6) All employees below the rank of Sectional Officer shall be subordi- nate to the Sectional Officer.
