( 1 ) The Competent Authority shall, verify the title of the land and extent of consent as provided in sub-section ( 2 ) of section 19G, covered under the Scheme, with reference to revenue records, registered documents other relevant records of ownership of land in the prescribed manner within prescribed period. ( 2 ) The Competent Authority shall pass the appropriate order under his seal and signature, confirming the acceptance or otherwise of the land for the Scheme.
