( 1 ) Upon receipt of the annual report submitted under section 16, the Government may take such action thereon as it may consider necessary. ( 2 ) A copy of the report submitted to the Government, together with a report of the action taken thereon by the Government under sub-section ( 1 ), shall be laid before each House of the State Legislature.
