( 1 ) This Act may be called the Maharashtra Domestic Workers Welfare Board Act, 2008. ( 2 ) It shall come into force in such area and on such date 1 , as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette , appoint and different dates may be appointed for different areas.
