( 1 ) On the appointed day, every small farmer undergoing detention in a civil prison in execution of any decree for money passed by a civil court in respect of his debt shall be released. ( 2 ) No small farmer shall in any case be liable to arrest or detention in civil prison in execution of any such decree as is referred to in sub-section ( 1 ) 1 [during the period this Chapter remains in force.]
