1 [14A. Temporary duration of Chapters IV and V.- Without prejudice to the operation of the other provisions of this Act, this Chapter and Chapter V shall remain in force for the period commencing on the 22 nd August 1975 and 2 [ending on, and inclusive of, the 21 st August 1989] and for such further period thereafter, not exceeding two years as the State Government may, from time to time, by notification in the Official Gazette , specify and shall then expire. Section 7 of the Bombay General Clauses Act, 1904 (Bom. I of 1904), shall apply upon the expiry of these Chapters as if they had been repealed by a Maharashtra Act.]
