( 1 ) The company shall prepare and render to the 1 [State] Government or to such officer as the 2 [State] Government may appoint in this behalf, on or before the prescribed date in each year, a statement of accounts of its undertaking for such period made up to such date, in such form and containing such particulars may be prescribed in this behalf. ( 2 ) The company shall keep copies of such statement of accounts at its office and sell the same to any applicant at a price not exceeding that which may be prescribed.
