All village officers and all officers of the departments of revenue, agriculture and veterinary shall be bound- ( a ) to give immediate information to the Veterinary Surgeon and Inspector having jurisdiction in the area regarding the prevalence of a scheduled disease among animals in the area, (b) to take all necessary measures to prevent the spread of disease, and ( c ) to assist the Veterinary Surgeon and Inspector to carry out the provisions of this Act.
