( 1 ) This Act may be called 1 [the Maharashtra Bhil Naik Inams Abolition Act]. ( 2 ) It extends to the districts of 2 [West Khandesh (Except the villages specified in Parts II and III of the First Schedule to the Bombay Reorganisation Act, 1960)] and Nasik in the 3 [State of Maharashtra]. ( 3 ) It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette , appoint in this behalf.
