( 1 ) This Act may be called 1 [the Maharashtra Bhagdari and Narwadari Tenures Abolition Act]. ( 2 ) It extends to the whole of the 2 [Bombay area of the State of Maharashtra]. ( 3 ) It shall come into force on such date as the Provincial Government may by notification in the Official Gazette specify.
