Notwithstanding anything contained in the 1 Code of Criminal Procedure, 1898 (V of 1898), an offence under clause (i) or clause ( iii ) of sub-section ( 1 ) of section 33 shall be deemed to be a cognizable offence within the meaning of that Code.
