In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires,- ( a ) "administrator" means a person appointed under sub-section ( 2 ) of section 45 of the Marketing Regulation Act for carrying out the functions of any Market Committee ; (b) "Market Committee" shall have the meaning assigned to it in the Marketing Regulation Act; ( c ) "the Emergency" means the Emergency declared under the Proclamation of Emergency issued under clause ( 1 ) of article 352 of the Constitution of India on the 25th day of June 1975 ; ( d ) "the Marketing Regulation Act" means the Maharashtra Agricultural Produce Marketing (Regulation) Act, 1963 (Mah. XX of 1964).
