( 1 ) Subject to the superintendence of the State Marketing Board, the Managing Director shall function as the chief executive officer of the State Marketing Board. ( 2 ) The State Marketing Board shall appoint such other officers and servants under the supervision and control of the Managing Director as it may consider necessary for the efficient discharge of its duties and functions under this Act.
