Upon the expiry of the Acts specified in the Schedule- (a) section 8 of the Madras General Clauses Act, 1891, shall apply, as if the Acts so specified had then been repealed by a Madras Act; (b) save as provided in clause (a), the Acts, if any, amended by the Acts so specified shall have operation as if the latter Acts had never been enacted.
