Code of CrimInal Procedure to apply.-Save as provided in this. Chapter the provisions of the Code of Criminal Procedur, 1973 (No.2 of 1974) shall apply to an offence under this Act: Provided that if an offence punishable under this Act is also punishable under any o1herenactment for the time being in forcethen notwithstanding any thing contained in that Act or in the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (No.2 of 1974) to the contrary the provisions of section 39,40 and 41 of this Act shall apply.
